    Futrino - Jayenkai/AGameAWeek

This year I'm trying something a little different to my regular AGameAWeek schedule, and rather than rushing through each game, I'm taking the time out to expand ideas a little.
I'll still be trying to make a ludicrous number of games, but hopefully each one will last a little longer than the usual 10 minutes of playtime!!

    This month, I've made a maze-based Space Shoot-em-up!

Float around the maze, find the three hidden disks and take them back to the hub.
Along the way you'll be fighting off evil enemies, and dodging ominously deadly rectangles!
Use your standard weapon, or a selection of secondary weapons to fend off the enemies, and make your way back to the hub.

You can download Futrino from OUYA.TV or find it in your OUYA's Discovery Doohickey..

    PS : There's a LOT of levels

I'm looking forward to seeing more involved/longer games from you. I played quite a few of your games, some of them captivated my attention for a while (monkeyblocks in particular) but for the most part I lost interest after understanding the mechanics and getting a few scores. Good choice in my opinion!

Like nearly every time you release a game, I love it. Still rolling through levels...when I remember to drop off the disks at the hub before I die. Dammit.

Great game Jay! Love it. So far I think the new schedule and longer games is a hit! At least I hope so cause they are with me

Love it, as always. This would be fun split screen.

It would have to be shrunk down a bit. And the "three disks" gameplay might not work as well with more players. That'd need a bit of a rethink.
Also, the way I did the screen movement/loading/clearing is incredibly hacky.. That wouldn't support multipayer in it's current form. Would have to be redone from scratch.
    .

But, yeah, multiplayer stuff would be nice to play with..

How many levels are there in total JNK? Or are you going to wait until one of us gets to the end?

Yup!! My regular nice round number of levels.
    ....
I need to learn to make games with 1001 levels, just so I can say "OVER 1000 LEVELS!"
