    Gamemode box?

Hello, I was wondering if there is some kind of HDMI box video processor that would add graphical effects to the HDMI coming out from OUYA to my HDTV. Something like a box that Identifies the HDMI signal and add 3D video effects to the end HDMI.

    Features?

    *3D mode
    *Shadows
    *Montion blur
    *Increase Texture Definition
*Anti aliasing or some kind of blocky filter
*Remove buggy 3D drawing on the screen

I am not sure if a video processor could do this but I would like if you all could help me. Since the OUYA is limited to a certain harware I would like to increase the redering quality in a significant way. Video processor are like 2000 dollars so that is not what i am looking for.

    No

What comes from the HDMI port is simply a picture.
Essentially, what you're asking for, is something to take a photo, add extra shadows, boost the textures, remove pixelisation, and generally fix up technical aspects, then spit it out. .. In realtime.

    No! Not gonna happen.

doesnt HDMI output the redering in 3D?

even if it be a 2D redering, there could be a converter that would convert the image to 3D from 2D and enhance the Definition.

HDMI is literally just a picture carrier. All the rendering happens within the magical little rubik's cube sized OUYA.
When you watch a 3D thing on your tv, ie one that requires 3D glasses, what's actually happening is that the movie is being split into two halves, and those are sent together, as a single picture.
What the movie player sends is actually a "splitscreen" image, which your TV interprets as two different views of the same thing.
This is why your TV has a "side by side" vs "Top to bottom" option in it's 3D menu.

If you'd like to see something really odd, boot up Sonic 2 in an emulator, set it to splitscreen mode, switch to 3D view on your telly, and then switch between your left and right eye in your glasses.

What does this prove? Not a lot, but just remember that at the end of the day, the HDMI cable simply carries pictures. No 3D data, no textures, nothing fancy. Just a plain simple 2D image, the size of the screen.
(*and the audio.. It'd be a bit rubbish without any audio!!)

    I have a normal hdtv.

The closest thing that I think it would do the job I desire to see is a "HDMI video processor" but for some reason they are like 1500 doollars and I don't know why.

Why should a device to increase my HDMI redering quality should be 1500 dollars expensive when a "PCI Express 2.0 GPU" is around 34 dollars?

Makes no sence to me, does it to you?

I just want to increase my OUYA Gaming experience. I don't get it!

You're not getting it because you refuse to accept the OUYA for what it is which is the strongest Tegra Three device on the market, and it's nothing more than that. A device like the OUYA is much like your traditional mainstream video game console in the sense that it's not something you can improve on. Previous attempts by company manufacturers have spat out things like the SEGA CD & the Nintendo 64DD but do you see things like that being released to the public these days? No since they were commercial failures and it took the industry sizable amounts of financial loss to understand that once they release a video game console then they're stuck with that until they release something completely new. In short, there's no such thing as adding graphical effects to a video game console via some HDMI device nor any device for that matter.

Furthermore, if there was such an option then the third of this community that won't keep quiet about wanting an OUYA with stronger hardware would have jumped on that the millisecond it became available. Most of the people here bought the OUYA for what it stood for and not what it could do. If you want an XboxONE or PS4 then get either of those consoles because the OUYA is what it is. A console with a modest Tegra Three that doesn't try to be anything it isn't unlike what you're trying to do.

Finally some common sense.... nothing else to say.

An upscaler takes a low-resolution (small) picture and does its best to stretch it out for a higher resolution screen without looking stretched. Ouya already outputs a 1080p image if your TV supports it. Unless your TV is a 40k display, there's nothing for an upscaler to stretch. It would basically do nothing.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."
