I just thought of something; is there a way to lower resolution in settings? Maybe some settings tweaking will pull the framerate to over 10? I don't want to download it just to check, so I'm asking instead.![]()
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, Strikewing: Raptor Rising, Fullblast, Alpha Wave, Pinball Arcade: Season Two, & Fractal Combat X are all games I've purchased but never even touched amongst others that I didn't play much at all. I put the OUYA console back in its box and only recently pulled it out to purchase Oddworld. Afterwards, I put it right back in the box because there's "something" stopping me from playing any games on the device. I don't think Flashout 2 is any way to remedy this slump I'm in, but I'll keep the fact that it has a demo in my thoughts for the future.
Hmm... I suppose I'll get back to my coffee and bananas.

Figured if this thread is active again it would be framerate stuff. Had no issues at all and online was just as smooth when we were playing on Twitch.
Schizophretard: By a process of elimination pretty much.Around 25-30 frames per second is fine for most games (although many absolutely prefer 60 once they get used to that) but when you see stuttering in the movement and feel nauseous looking at the screen when turning your character you know it's under 20 FPS. And in Flashout 2's case it's almost possible to make out separate frames, it's like watcing a poor gif during the worst dips, so 10-15 frames is probably the case.
Here's a quick example between 15, 30 and 60 in three gifs.

If I didn't know what I was looking for in those gifs and wasn't even told to look for a difference then I don't think I would notice a difference. I get what you are saying though. Dead Rushing is unplayable to me because my eyes can't focus on anything. It is just a big blur that instantly starts giving me eye strain and I have to look away. Mussoumano Game is kind of the same thing but less, it is playable, and it takes awhile for the eye strain. Flashout 2 is even less and I can't even see what others are complaining about. The sun shinning in my eyes in the game just annoys me a little. That is just preference though because I'm a vampire that can see better driving in the night than in daylight and if I were a fan of the sun then I probably wouldn't be actively avoiding it by trying to stay inside to play video games. The sun is evil because it makes the beautiful colors of everything in the darkness of the night become ugly with brightness. It is so evil that I bet it will eventually go nova and the brightness will consume the Earth.

Great way to see the actual frames would be to install logcat. I've used this to monitor me forcing Netflix to work in higher quality (didn't work). It should output LOTS of information including fps/resolution/background apps etc.
