I was wondering if its possible to move an app form Software to Play?

You can by editing the apk and adding the OUYA specific intent-filter. tv.ouya.intent.category.APP OR tv.ouya.intent.category.GAME

Not really. The long and short is you need to download the apktool and decompile the apk into its components. Then you will need to edit the AndroidManifest.xml file and add that intent to the appropriate activity, most apks will only have one activity so that is pretty easy to determine.

Nice! The only issue you might have is for apps that have more than one activity, but anything is better than nothing!

can't you add a sideloaded app to your favorites list, it should than be in the play section?

No idea, I stopped using the OUYA Launcher before favourites were implemented.

Yup, just found this out tonight. Makes accessing Netflix much easier.
