This is game is super great, go play it now. It is the legitimate baby of Super Mario World (SNES), Zelda 2 (NES) and Metroid (2D). If you've enjoyed any of these games, Elliot Quest is for you.

    How is that Riot?

No apology needed. If I really gave out the ending then I would deserve it. I would be robbing people of their time and money on this great game that we are going to convince Riot to play one way or the other.

The ending of Elliot Quest is that they sail away on a boat in the sunset, while some cheesy music is playing. This is the ending screen:

Yeah, I think I'll just skip on this purchase altogether.

Riot: In all serious... ness...? (is that even a word?), if this is how you feel then I won't say another word, but if you're doing it just out of spite then it truly is a shame. It's a really good game as many have stated, and one that I thought you'd like even with all the minor hints you've picked up.

But then again, I don't really know exactly what you like in video games (I know some genres, but I don't know your feelings regarding games like Link's Adventure and Metroid), so maybe it's for the best that you skip this game.

I'm not doing it out of spite and I love most video game genres. I just don't see any sort of reason why I should pick this up as things stand. The community's apathetic feedback quality, the game's vagueness, and the spoilers throughout this thread which really suck the fun out of anything. This makes the price tag for Elliot Quest into a $80 game coupled with being a high risk.

After thinking about it, I decided that I will be going on an excavation. I will download a lot of games from Discover and will do my best to spend the amount of money I have left as on-console credit. Games with demos no matter how poor their execution may be will be replayed to death to insure a decision is made, but betas will not be a part of this since I don't like the thought of purchasing a beta on a system that has showed us that the respective developers never finish them. Elliot Quest will be a part of this little foray and I will also use this opportunity to find more hidden gems on the console that I will use as material for my future contest's.
