    Wait, wait wait wait waaaaait.... Can I
     
    get more gold from old treasure chests? Even when they're opened and look like they are picked clean? I must have walked by hundreds of opened chests by now with all my backtracking and blindly going everywhere! *facepalm* Yes, I have been getting my gold from the odd one coin dropped by enemies. I have saved up 400 through just this, and it took me hours and hours.... *double facepalm*

    Nope, I think they just mean search old areas for chests you might have missed-- and kill monsters while you search.

    I am really wishing for an exhaustive spoiler-filled Nintendo-Power style guide for this game, kinda like the one that got my 14-year-old self through Zelda II way back in the day
