I'm stuck...
I'm not very far in the game yet, but I can say that it really does a good job of refining the Zelda II gameplay without dumbing it down. The level design shows a great grasp of conveyance, meaning the need for tutorial content is very, very minimal. Things are laid out so that you intuitively learn how and when to use new abilities. Enemies telegraph their attacks and weaknesses in ways that are subtle and make sense but don't require a lot trial and error to learn. If the entire game keeps this up, then I think I can say that Elliot Quest is handily a better game than Zelda II--and I say that as one of the folks who thinks Zelda II was a good game.

The more I re explore an area the more I find. I've yet to find a key though to open up one of the blue chests. Anyone find that?
Also, i have items in the menu saying they are at home. Haven't found home yet either. Not sure if it is the little hut with the door locked...?
Still loving this game!
Oh, and what do you do with the green little globs with tiny wings? They seem like you should jump on them to reach higher areas, but I can't touch them.
I opened the little hut, but I can't do anything in it yet.
Well after exploring all over, getting bombs like 10 times and tried to blow up everything and anything that looked suspicious... The upwards air drafts. I'm stupid lol

Hey I was able to recreate the bug where you meet enemy on world map, die and then crash. I can do it immediately after the cut scene leaving fire temple.
The bug is you die and then music continues but screen remains where you died.
Seems to be related to the cut scenes somehow.
Pattern seems to be, cut scene, world map, go somewhere (enemy fight or reenter where you were), die, glitch.
Either way I am greatly enjoying this game... Huge title.

Thanks. Can you answer a few more things? 1. I have the double jump, but there are areas I need to jump higher but can't...suggestions?
2. Can only find two blue diamonds...did you find more?
3. There are some blocks that look like they need to be moved. Is there a power up to do so?
4. Can't figure out the green little blobs that float in the air...do you know?
Thanks

That's an awesome game. Thanks Ansimuz! Playing it makes me feel young again
I have one little advice to improve the feedback: you should add a sound that goes with the visual effect of the arrow when it is fully charged.
