Tried this just before bed last night. It did not look like the screen shots. The only thing I could see was the circle of light and the on/off icon. So either it gets lighter further in the game or my TV just doesn't work with this one. I could see different textures going past the circle but no idea what they were and every once in a while it would say the door is locked but had no idea I was even near a door. Thought I was just staring at the floor lol.

Has anyone else tried this? Am I missing something obvious or is it just a TV compatibility issue?

This does not work when installed to external hard drive. Only internal working waiting for update to this one.

EIDT: sometimes frame rate drops so much when walking and turning that this is barely playable!

A "How to Play" voice in the menu and a gamma adjustment could be very useful. I'm in the same situation of mmartino. Sure it can't be played with the lights on. This game caught my attention, trying to play it right now!

EDIT: switched the lights off, still nothing beside the circle of light.
EDIT2: By the way it's installed on the internal storage.

Most of the time I keep my OUYA offline: please consider it before inserting a phone-home/always online DRM in your game. If you still plan to do so, please declare it. You don't want pirates, I don't want to be frauded.

The game works perfectly on external storage so either it's already fixed or the problem isn't always present. The framerate though, is beyond unbelievable. As Magler says, it's unplayable most of the time. Maybe 5-6 frames per second, rendering the game truly unplayable due to the lack of control and the motion sickness that occurs from the stuttering.

With this said, I really want to like "Where am I?" because I love games like this. Maybe the resolution can be lowered or something like that? (Smooth gameplay > pretty textures.)

EDIT: I've adjusted the brightness of my TV and now I see the rest of the room outside the light cone, so yes it's a matter of gamma. An in-game adjustment would be great.
RE-EDIT: You. Yes you. I know you are reading this. Play. This. Game.
