So, two months later and narry a word about OUYA 2, more OUYA everywhere partners or anything else...though we did get an update in that time.

So, what do people think is going to happen with the future of OUYA? Will we get a new reference console? Will there be new OUYA Everywhere partners? Will OUYA go to France? (
"I'm from the future, you should go to China."
    "I'm goin' to France!"
    )

Could OUYA have gotten away with it, if it weren't for us pesky kids!? What are your thoughts for OUYA in 2015?

    My thoughts are:

    1. that me & my boys have blast on OUYA now.

    2. As long as the little box keeps working I don't have stuff a windows 7 PC with steam back in my entertainment center.

    3. if it aint broken, don't fix it, I think people need to chill and just enjoy the OUYA they have now.

Eh, but the lack of news has me concerned for the future of the ecosystem...to the point where I might rather have a Windows PC with Steam in my entertainment center...better for AAA gaming, and also really good for Indie gaming...with an XBox 360 wireless adapter and a wireless mouse and keyboard, you'd be pretty set for gaming...granted, those accessories cost more than the OUYA, to say nothing of the PC...but if you already have a PC, it might not be a huge stretch.

The ecosystem is also in the consumers hands. If people don't buy games, then things dwindle further, regardless of new hardware.

People buy games on OUYA. In fact, a higher percentage buy on OUYA than even iOS...but there just aren't that many people on the platform, sadly.

Not sure what else we can do, really. We've evangelized, we've bought games, we've backed games on kickstarter...we've even bought second OUYAs for our other TVs and given them out as gifts!

Just keep on buying games you like .

But really, we do know things are in development, the stage it is at we don't know, but we just have to put faith in that things are happening.

Just how small is your entertainment center cause the ouya doesn't take up much room.

I really don't understand the "I must decide my gaming fate now" posts on this forum.
What would actually change in your life if ouya went belly up?
I'm just trying to understand because ouya is not a significant investment compared to other gaming choises so I don't even see how it could be a determining factor when looking to purchase something else for gaming.

I mean If I gave up beer for a month I could probably buy an ouya and lose weight so to me ouya wasn't even a factor when I decided not to buy my kids a wiiu for Christmas.
