    Variations in ouya's?

I've heard about kick starter ouyas having a few issues fan noise been a major one or loss of wifi-bluetooth etc.
My ouya was not new when I got it, I've replaced my fan because it was loud , apart from the looping boot up that's now fixed that's it,I'm happy with it
V2 obviously has the 16gb upgrade but is there any way to tell when your ouya was made or telling from a serial number what revision you have ,but they all look the same motherboard as well

Other than the color of the case, the only differences in hardware for the current model that I know about is the addition of an internal antenna and a plastic case.
The 16 GB models seemed to of been limited runs because the current model comes with 8 GB.

Afaik they also improved the controller regarding the bad lag when more than 1 controller is connected.

I thought that was a firmware problem... Though a small difference can be noted in the thumbsticks. The newer ones have a ridge.
Most of the time I keep my OUYA offline: please consider it before inserting a phone-home/always online DRM in your game. If you still plan to do so, please declare it. You don't want pirates, I don't want to be frauded.

nope. i'm still having HUGE issues when i connected only 2 Ouya controllers. one of them is completely lagging then. Only thing that helps is turning of WiFi which on the otherhand makes some games not playable (thanks DRM!).

I was under the impression that the new wireless interface (big antenna, new chip) in the 16gb console was what fixed the controller latency issue and that the controllers' physical works remained unchanged.
