I had to brighten my plasma TV a lot for this game to be able to see in the forest. Had to change back after exiting or other media didn't look right. An ingame brightness option woulde be great.
I see no difference between HD and HD+. I hoped I could get rid of those pixellated parts...
I've raised slightly my screen's brightness because of other games, but I wonder: is it possible to add a brightness correction option in the game? I don't know if it's worth working on it, raising the brightness didn't worsen any other use I have for the monitor (TV and generally watching media) but maybe it does matter for somebody else.
P.S. Also, I couldn't understand if the game stores the purchase information for offline playing. It's the only thing that prevents me from buying the game on Ouya.
Most of the time I keep my OUYA offline: please consider it before inserting a phone-home/always online DRM in your game. If you still plan to do so, please declare it. You don't want pirates, I don't want to be frauded.

Oh awesome didn't even notice this game was releasing on Ouya. I was considering purchasing it for my Wii U. Glad to see it here though.

I finally got around to finishing it this week. I think it was worth at least what I paid for it. The graphics and music were great. The storyline was really reminiscent of the 16 bit RPGs I wasted so much time on when I was a kid. The writing was mostly excellent. There were a few somewhat suspect design decisions, mostly early in the game, but I think the total package made the game definitely worth playing.
My new least favorite game mechanic of all time, however, can be summed up in two words: Slippery tiles.
Spent a half hour in vain doing those damn slippery tiles. Watermelon, you people are sick, sick, people.
Edit (day 2) this is ridiculous. I keep choking on the third challenge at the magic school because I can't get there often enough to get better at it. It really throws you off by having so many non slippery tiles and youre just waiting for one yo catch you off guard. I've been playing this game for a month. Forsaking other games. And I've come to what feel like a dead end and a game ruiner. Its seriously ruining the whole damn game. Its very unforgiving and sometimes seemingly inconsistent. I can't tell if its the controller or me. But im getting real sick of that music and spinning off the edge.
Edit part 2. I finished the trial on my 3rd try tonight after realizing that the 3 part of the slippery tile trial is actually the easiest once you know the trick.
For those of you who still don't know. Pier Solar is on sale. 40% Off. At $15 it's a must buy, at $9 it's time to get off your ass and buy
(Hopefully you're checking the sale section and realize it's there)

This is very early on in the game.. I got to the first boss and can not beat him for anything. So I spent time leveling up my team , went back to town, healed up, and bought new weapons and armor. Then I went back into the forest and on the first enemy encounter, my lead character goes down... What am I doing wrong?? i don't get these games, I'm trying to like them...
