    Audio output options

I recently got my brother an Ouya for his birthday, but his TV doesn't have HDMI, only DVI. I'm going to try an HDMI/DVI adapter to solve the video issue, but I'm looking for help on the audio options. I may try a Bluetooth speaker, but I'm concerned about the lag that some people have reported that they expirience with this option. Does anybody know if audio lag has been addressed in any updates?

The other option that I'm looking at is audio over USB. Supposedly, Android has this capability, but I don't know if it has been implemented on Ouya, yet. Anybody know about this or have any other solutions that I could try?

I don't think the BT speaker induced lag has been looked into at all. I know from previous people posting about it that a HDMI/DVI adapter will split the audio just fine, if you get a good one. Make sure to read the reviews!

I can't speak to audio over USB at all. Might be an idea to run it through the mini port but I have no idea to go about it.

    Good luck!

Don't use an HDMI to dvi cable buy a converter box instead , this will give you more output options , VGA or dvi component s video ,rca audio possibly optical too, but they can be expensive
You may have to use http://m.ebay.com/itm/331317182706?nav=SEARCH
And if dvi is regestered on the TV as PC then you may have to use the PC sound input too so you'll need rca/ phono to jack hope this helps you or gives you a few ideas
