    Hi !

    Nice game.

    - could you also automatically orient the car on the right track way after a crash ? (or display a 'wrong way' message).
    - Perhaps should be interesting to press a key during the reset timer to immediately replace the car ?
    - yellow silhouette is strange... why ?
    - I think there's huge potential too.

    Many thanks.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I am always trying to find ways to increase the performance, so expect it to improve with each update. Regarding the yellow haze/silhouette, I put that there to mask the low far distance on the camera. I figured it made the track look a little nicer rather than having everything abruptly cut off and pop in. But if you don't like it, I can certainly add an in-game option to disable it.

And the "Wrong Way" message is coming in the next update as well as pressing Y to immediately flip your car

EDIT : I just wanted to add that after some feedback and discussions, the next update will add online to the demo. The demo will allot each player 30 minutes of online game time per week. Every Sunday night, my server will wipe the timers and everyone will be bumped back up to 30 minutes. A few things to note though ...

    - The timer will only start counting when there are 2 online players inside a race at once. So you can host a game and drive around by yourself, and it will have no effect on your 30 minutes until someone joins. If they leave after 5 minutes, you will have 25 minutes remaining.
    - Idling in a lobby with 2 or more players does not count towards your 30 minutes. It only starts when in-game.
    - The 30 minute limitation is removed by purchasing the full unlock.
    - If the 30 minutes runs out, you will not be kicked from a game. You will be able to finish the game and as soon as you return to the main menu, the game will disconnect and flip into offline mode.

I think that sounds pretty reasonable? Any suggestions and feedback is welcome!

    - Perhaps you should increase a little the car turning circle ? So i can turn quickly when i'm in the wrong way... ;-)

    - Is there a method to skid the car ?

    - For your main menu. Use a better 'game' font. Increase the size too. (why not use a bitmap font ? Sometimes display true type font is very slow)

    - What's the engine you use to develop the game ?

    - Everything else was good for me at this development stage. Note that i'm just a casual gamer.

    - i purchase the game to encourage you to update it !

    Have a nice day.

Thanks for the feedback! I just submitted a quick update that allows demo users to play online. I'll take your suggestions into consideration for the next update!

    - There isn't a way to skid the car right now - but I'll look at that for the next update.
    - I will be doing kart handling tweaks for the next update. So it should also be easier to turn.
    - I use Unity for all my games.
    - Thanks for your support

So I managed to play your title last night, this has got bags of potential!

Currently It seems a little too Alpha for me to give you your asking price, but don't worry you will get my money if you keep building on it.

So in the demo I played last night for around 5-10mins these are my thoughts.

    - Initial car turning feels nice and solid, car feels weighty which I like.

    - used what I presume is the brake button and it oddly just makes the turning circle tighter, as said above please add a skid button or effect, some very good ideas for this could be doing a similar idea to Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing, or maybe even an Outrun style idea where you use your brake to initiate it.

    - Menu's seem pretty bland right now so would be good to see work done on that.

    - I would like a specific menu option to select single player instead of having to Host a game, its not complicated right now but it just seems odd to me, Single Player Mode and an Online Play mode seems better to me.

    - Love your super shiny karts What I think would look better is to have a complete flat bottom to the cars so when they tip over they look a little more Aesthetically pleasing.

    - Jumps were nice, although collisions got a little funny sometimes, almost like I was stuck in the obstacle, this didn't effect movement but maybe add a bounce effect?

And that's it for now I think.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I have lots of content planned, so feel free to wait as long you would like . The update with online support in the demo finally got approved today, so everyone can check that out now. I also have a few other modes I would like to implement (some sort of battle mode and more).

There actually isn't a brake button right now! The left trigger is simply 'reverse' and it doesn't really provide a nice skid effect when going around corners. I'm definitely working on the handling & control scheme so skidding is definitely on its way. Regarding menus - already working on a fresh new look! Also the kart bottoms and collisions will also be getting some work done!

    Thanks a lot!

@tozeleal - You bet! Power ups will be added in different game modes in a coming update

That sounds cool, I have more feedback for you now regarding the actual race track.

It looks very nice indeed, it's also an interesting track which is what so many Kart games fail at.

I find the car pulls to either side a little too easy if you have been turning for a while.

I also fell through the road a few times, below I caught it on video.
