Swish means *moving with a hissing or a rushing sound. But I'm sure he is using the infomal version which would be shooting a basketball into the basketball hoop without the ball touching the rim or the backboard of the hoop, making a swish (rip) sound when hitting the net. And more informality when using it to describe something as amazing, great, or perfect. To answer your question, the game looks amazing.

Steering seems odd. The menus are very basic. Not quite clear that you CAN in fact play single player

I agree with Rhellik, the menus are basic and the steering felt off to me. Got caught in the graphics a couple times not to mention the crashes that leave you upside down with your head stuck in the ground for a good 5 or 6 seconds.
However the technical aspects of the game are impressive! I feel that with a little de-bugging and polish, this could shape up to be one of, if not the best kart racing game on the system. Shows a ton of promise and when you do not have any problems with the steering or collision detection issues, the game is actually pretty fun. Would love a timed trial for the net play too just to see how functional it is.
I really hope Norwind Interactive keeps working on this title and turns out something awesome!

There is no way to play single player, outside of playing online, that I could find but I didn't look very hard. Been meaning to try out a 2 player game but haven't not yet had the time.

The unpaid version means there is no online mode, so I guess that would stand for single player. Also, there are no bots currently.

Hey guys! Developer here - thanks for the feedback!
The steering does in fact have some issues. Part of it is due to OUYA's natural controller lag (it's more noticeable during splitscreen). Another part of it is definitely something I can fix. It's high up on my list of to-do's so it will definitely improve with each update.
Again, thanks for the feedback! The menu will be getting a rework eventually as well. Regarding the crash flipping, what do you suppose would be a good 'reset timer'? If you flip upside down, it takes 3 seconds instead? I'm totally open to suggestions.
I really really wanted to bring online to the demo, but I am worried it would leave barely any value to the full version. A timed trial is a pretty good idea. Do you have any other suggestions that might work nicely? Thanks for the comments and feedback!
And I tried to make it as clear as possible, but apparently that failed- The game does NOT have any single player modes (yet)! In the demo you can drive around by yourself or with a friend (splitscreen).
Anyway, the past few days I have been desperately trying to get the game approved on the MOJO (through OUYA Everywhere). For some reason the online mode is having issues only on the MOJO. So it's been a bit of a back and forth with the OUYA folks to try to solve this ( I don't own a MOJO so it's taking a bit of time ). Once this fiddly issue is out of the way, I'll spend more time fine tuning the controls & menu![]()

To play by yourself, just act like you are joining an on-line game. The game will automatically put you on a track, all on your lonesome
I have the same impressions as the others, I think. The track assets are really quite nice, but the performance needs some smoothing out. I also think the lighting could use some adjustment so that we can see those pretty graphics a bit more often. When I tried it out, I noticed that most of the scenery was obscured in a hazy yellow silhouette as often as not. But like everyone else is saying, I think there's huge potential here.
