Yeah, I'd have to agree with you all. To be honest, There were a lot of good entries. But I'd have to say that a majority of the games that are up in the finalists should not be there. Our game gravi didn't even make the finalist list and call me butthurt or whatever, but I felt that it should have been up there. http://indieDB.com/games/gravi You be the judge.
I don't understand how some of the games up there were not disqualified. Like Avner, who publicly debut'd his game on Oct 16th 2012 on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lb6x0Xl4JcE
I can't help to wonder just how much Research Ouya Team or Create team (whom ever is responsible) did before selecting these finalist?
Gravi was conceptualized 4 days after the announcement of the Ouya Create Contest. We take pride in the fact that we were able to get so much of the game done with 6 developers ( 5 art developers ) and 1 1/2 programmers. (1/2 representing part timer). We submitted Gravi at 11:37PM just barely making the deadline. But if you look at what we created from scratch, I ( biased I know ) feel that our game excels visually and feel much more complete then most of the finalist entries..
Anyways, that is my rant. Tell me what you guys think. Am I way off base here?

PS: I'd also like to mention that Gravi has 10 free levels of game play that was submitted to the contest entry all with equal polish..
