If Google or Amazon buys Ouya I'll be pretty happy with this. I still want a K1 box preferably with ouya games.

Makes sense. Get out before you lose everything. OUYA simply has not taken off and probably never will get to the point of profitability. I predict if this happens, the consoles are toast and the rights to the games are what changes hands. Amazing Frog on Amazon Fire TV? Could see it sooner than later kids.

I think some folks might not understand that this is probably the end of the product. Ouya has no brand presence beyond their loyal users and some gamers that keep up. They also could not have enough revenue that is generating a profit (How could they? ).

All they had keeping them afloat was the venture capital and that is not a sustainable business model. The market already has devices more powerful and with bigger markets that do the same thing. None of those are doing very well either, but have bigger profit centers supporting the products as part of an overall portfolio.

Seems unlikely anybody will take them in, due to the saturation. They need to be aquired to get money, else game over.

A niche product tends to only work if part of a bigger portfolio. A lot of folks might be gamers, but do not understand the business part.

Good luck to Ouya, none the less. Regardless of result, their hearts appear in the right place.

Today, every move is a good move.

OUYA needs to break the ice, because in the first year things gone pretty bad.
All the hype vaporized almost immediately after the sells started, OUYA INC failed to engage people.
We'll see.

I've known about this for a month and a half along with other information so with that said don't twist this into doom & gloom, OUYAForum. Watch and wait for the sun to rise and you'll see for what this situation really is.
