Thread: Stalagflight

This was one of the first games I downloaded and still play it. What a simple fun game, and the Multiplayer is more combative and chaotic then I thought it would be.

I've noticed with 2 players, the "camera" doesn't seem to track them very well. It could be the overscan issue you mentioned above, but even if two players are near each other, they can get lost on the top of the screen.

Anyways, this is a very fun game, and I'm glad to hear you are going to continue development. I can't wait to see what's next!

I've been addicted to this game since I downloaded it so fun. I'd love an option to invert the spin direction. Even though I've been playing it everyday for like a week I still can't get my head around the push left to spin right. Like I have to think about it but my instant reaction is the opposite of the controls so I usually end up dying so I just play currently with only spinning in one direction (this did help me discover the momentum jumps but isn't efficient) I know it's personal problem but I'd love if it was an option. I just can't do well with it how it is now. Idk why.

And custom characters maybe? Like at least picking our color? Seeing as how it's only like two frames from what I can see for the character though I don't see why you couldn't easily make body, head, and trail options. And maybe make them rewards for reaching certain heights so there's a goal other than high score. "You hit 500 meters robot head unlocked'' etc. But that's just an idea. If you did leader board showing peoples custom characters would be an easy why to make it quite colorful.

I'm not sure if it's me though I find the window for jump direction too large? Like how you can jump directly left or right, If i'm spinning a boulder I'll have let go of the thumbstick and hit jump only to shoot off to the side as if I was holding the stick down. I'm not sure if this is me, or my controller but it is frustrating when it happens. Other than that this game is awesome.

I'm amazing, you probably just haven't realized it yet.

The person who remixed the music may have released his version under Creative Commons, but I doubt he had permission from Kemco to do so. It sucks because the music fits your game perfectly. Maybe you can get permission from Kemco or Gremlin Graphics?
    Is this really true?

I suck at this game but it is a fun time killer.

I totally agree that this game is good, and agree even more that the controls make this Impossible to get any good at. I'm awful at this game and cannot spin in the right direction. Sadly even though I kinda like this game it just spoils it too much for me. Too frustrating. Better controls and it would be another matter...

This game has a larger learning curve than it ought to but it's good when you get the hang of it.

Try this, don't concern yourself with what direction you are spinning, press left or right, doesn't matter, once you are spinning at a decent speed, as your character spins and faces a general upward direction, press and hold the direction you wish to jump and hit the button.

How I generally play, I just start by jumping straight up, I build up a good spin, press and hold UP, then hit jump and direct my character in the air. Try this and you'll eventually get the hang of it.
