    • Anything that instigates racial/ethnic hatred, or harms ethnic traditions and cultures.
    • Anything that violates China’s policy on religion by promoting cults or superstitions.

Hmmmm. OUYA Inc. partners up with Xiaomi, the guys with the cheapest K1 tablet on the market. Need I say more?!

Are there indie Chinese devs? I wonder what sort of craziness might be coming to Discover.
    Juxtaposition is the human condition.

Highly unlikely given how strict China was and still is with game development of any kind amongst other restricted things. These "Chinese developers" would have to be in other locations of the world and while that's not you meant, it's the best answer you're going to get I imagine.

I'm happy with this decision. More money funneling into OUYA allows for more growth, which will trickle down to the consumer in a variety of ways.

Yes, because what does a tablet that isn't packaged with its own controller have to do with anything here? This isn't a Wikipad.

    *facepalm*

so far, every device that has OUYA Everywhere is within the Tegra family. Obviously Xiaomi is the next logical step. You seriously think they are going to skip out a chance to test their software on next gen Tegra hardware and switch over to snapdragon???

Interesting. I wonder what the terms of the deal are. Maybe OUYA gets an in on some volume priced K1s?

On Engadget it "On the backend, Xiaomi, Ouya and the game's developers split the money"

I wonder if they are splitting profits with all its partners. So basically they are paying for their store to be on other devices. That's a huge step down from what it was made out to be before. Before people made it seem as if these partners really just wanted all the goodness of ouya, now come to find out they are buying their way onto other machines.

Now I question if these companies are even interested in ouyas market or just trying to get more profit.

You actually have you answer right there. As a business individual you only take interest in things you perceive to be beneficial to your own business. They only took interest in OUYA Incorporate because this "deal" was beneficial to them. How beneficial is it to OUYA Incorporate? That's obvious but there are sure to be other perks we don't know about yet,
