I don´t believe that the developer of TK will go make a modified versión to run in, maybe, 200 OUYA´s around the world that wants the TK features.

I use TK from time to time on my OUYA and is a pain in the ass to setup, beside the unstability and lags added to the flawed OUYA controllers.

Better is to ask why the OUYA guys have not programed from start a better way to emulate touch devices, accelerometer, gyroscope, gravitometer, etc. (its not easy to add this with an .apk but is totally posible when you work at Android´s kernel level).
Obviously they don´t want you to run anything but OUYA developed software, but in the way they have pushed far away the OUYA from common users, because Johny Gamer wants all that beautifull new touch /accelerometer games but don´t want to mess with rooting, xposing, moding, sideload Tincore and so on (and after every system upgrade!), so they have made the OUYA almost an only-nerds-allowed platform.

Sure, if you don´t want to dirt your hands you can still play the growing OUYA library (oh god!, why most new OUYA games looks like old Atari 2600 experiments?).

So leave TK in peace, its done for cell pones, where you don´t supose to have a joystick. Not for game systems that could manage input controllers in a proper way.
