Neon Caves - Force Of Habit

Around this time last year we (Force Of Habit) were approached by Indie Statik to create a game for their Kickstarter Game Pack. A game that would be exclusively for the backers. We produced Neon Caves, an experimental offshoot of our first game Toast Time that was designed specifically for controller input.

If you haven't played Toast Time, the interesting part of it is that movement and shooting are intrinsically linked -- one cannot be performed without the other. We wanted to explore that further.

Neon Caves was released to those Kickstarter backers earlier this year, and that was awesome. We're almost year on now since we started, and a few improvements have been made since then. It's time that more people played the game, so it's OUT NOW on OUYA!

    Description:
Explore the Neon Caves, a fragile ecosystem lost to the world for centuries. Recently rediscovered by your research team, use your ship's anchor ability and elite implements to stabilise the cave while keeping the hostile inhabitants at bay.

    Price:
    £1.99 GBP / $2.99 USD

It will be a week or more before I am able to purchase and try your game.
What I can tell you right now though, is that the screenshots and video you have shown not only has me wanting (and going) to purchase it, but that I can't wait.
I not only like what you have done with the graphics and colors... I *love* them!
In fact, *thank you* for them. >_>

I will post back when I have actually played the game, but for now, your screenshots have made a contract with my wallet for a date in the future.

That's so awfully kind of you! Let us know what you think once you get around to playing.

Ted who produced all of the art for Neon Caves game also made a brilliant game called suteF, and is currently working on a new game called The Bulletromancer. You should check them out if you like what you see here.

Sounds like this. I sadly don't have a fix and the only thing I can recommend is keep trying different things.

Ouch! Is there any way for users to get crash logs off of the OUYA and then send them to me / post them here so I can investigate? I don't want this to happen to anybody else!

What's the game engine your using? Depending on that there can be different solutions and reasons why this is happening.
Our game Black Hole - A Classic Arcade Dual-Stick Space Shooter
Available in the OUYA store now!
Killswitch - "There are 302,456 OUYAs out there, now no one will have to ask again."

Not using one! Straight up C++ / JNI / Java. Hope that narrows it down...

I THINK (not sure) users can send their logs to OUYA, via MANAGE -> SYSTEM and then something there. But I dont think you can get ahlod of that directly, unless someone sends you their adb logcat output.

EDIT: Then again, there is something about crash reports in the OUYA Dev portal. If you log in to your account and look under "Analytics" there might be some crash reports there, but their not really easy to read.
