Alien Bastards is an action-based interpretation of Space Invaders. Shoot waves of aliens with your rockets. Get rid of risky situations with your additional equipment and collect powerups which gives you one of eight different superweapons. Beat your own highscore and study your statistics. Loaded with super cheesy metal soundtrack!

This is very good. It packs all the punch of the original Space Invaders but adds just the right amount of change to make it feel fresh. Smooth gameplay, great controls, pretty animated sprites, awesome music... I will come back to this game many times.
I just wish there were more bosses!

i like this one. really nice pixel art and music. but it can get a little repetitive.

It feels like a Turbografx-16 game, which is kinda neat when most games with the look and feel of a retro console are mimicking Atari, C64, NES, or Genesis. This is to Space Invaders as Alien Crush is to pinball.

Tried this on a whim and had a lot of fun. Great game for shooter fans.
