Allrighty, I must say I'm quite impressed by OUYA support. Thanks to all here who nudged me to try that path again, I'm now in for a replacement console, which - since the new controllers didn't help - I'm looking forward to.

I checked my controller, and have 2 with firmware 102, 2 with 103 and one controller with 104. They all lag. Now I hope it's the antenna of my OUYA and they'll all be snappy with the new console.

Really pleased with the reaction of OUYA Inc - they said they were really sorry it still didn't work for me (getting my replacement controllers was quite a challenge, with multiple wrong packages... my personal highlight was when I got two OUYA consoles instead of controllers. Without power cables, so pretty much useless).
