If you have a controller issue then contact support, it gets said all the time here on the forum by them and by us. No device is perfect, there will always be defective products and that's why there are warranties and support departments.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough. I wasn't speaking about general latency, but occasional input delay, coming and going. It works most of the time, and the suddenly my game character does irrational things (because m button presses register with a 1 to 4 second delay). This has nothing to do with the screen.

If you are unable to hard-line your Ouya. Since bluetooth is on the same 2.4Ghz range that changing the wi-fi broadcast channel on your router may help with lag issues.
Some people believed the v0.0103 retail launch released controllers were problematic and that controllers above this release worked a lot better.

There could be a relation between how dense the background microwave radiation noise from routers within your community versus the Ouyas performance but it's all speculation.
Nice speculations! I'll try a few things out. - maybe I can try my OUYA out some place where there's very little other wifi stuff going on (I'm thinking of my parent's homes ). Alas, I already am tipping my OUYA, I'm already using hard-line ethernet, so the only remaining problem would be BT/Wifi interference.
And I have 2 original controllers and 2 new ones (sent as replacement by OUYA, Inc), and all 4 have the issue... That's what made me think it's rather the antenna and not the controllers.

Since I already contacted them twice, and also received two replacement controllers, I don't see how this would be helpful to do again. Then again... Do you think I could send in my OUYA? Now that I know that the old units have different antennae than the new ones, it might actually be worth another shot...
