App will not login any-longer, saying it needs to be updated to a newer version. Amazon will not - saying it is now only for Kindle Fire (Bastards). They are blaming Madfinger, but I seriously think it is just them channeling Nintendo. Anyway, was a good run (while it lasted).
This is probably the single biggest flaw in the Ouya is lack of some form of GooglePlay support. None of the PlayStore side-loading/hacks seem to work any longer, since the last update, and so many games like Dark Meadow: the Pact, Plants vs Zombies 2, Dead Trigger 2, and thousands more, are out of reach for no good reason. This is kinda what OSX would be like without bootcamp - POINTLESS.
I love indie games, but this is starting to seem a bit ridiculous, "we can't allow any GREAT games, because they will make the little guys look bad" - rubbish.
The Ouya hardware isn't the problem. It is the closed-box system. All they would have had to do is NOT prevent PlayStore from working.![]()

How to Amazon Appstore http://ouyaforum.com/showthread.php?8351-How-to-Amazon-AppStore
artphotodude, I recommend that you just download the APK and OBB off of the internet and sideload it. Amazon Appstore is pretty spotty (I.E. applications work with some people, don't with others) but sideloading /seems/ to be one-size-fits-all.
Note that I do not recommend nor do I endorse piracy- in this case, Dead Trigger 2 can be downloaded gratis on Google Play and Amazon Appstore, and one may still be able to participate in IAPs by sideloading- Mad Finger is not harmed.
