I am curious why the OUYA Everywhere apks are being treated like they don't exist on this forum. I understand the reasoning of not sharing files that OUYA does/doesn't approve of but at this point how does anyone know what their view is?

I didn't know about it... lol... other wise I would be using on my nexus 7... the tegra 3 one... lol
Ouya has my money I am not worried about it lol... I would just use it as a portable ouya pretty much lol...
As far as what Ouya's stance is, why would they be opposed? It's in their best interest to have this everywhere.
There has been no official announcement concerning the OUYA Everywhere APKs and their distribution. I do agree that it would be in their best interest to have them everywhere.
There has been some discussion around the forums about it, just not very loud or out in the open.
We aren't acting like they don't exist. We've talked about them before, and we are trying to get a definite opinion from OUYA Inc about it. However, it stands to reason that if they were ready to release a generic APK, they would release it themselves, since they've already stated they plan on doing so eventually. It's in their best insterests to have this everywhere once they are satisfied that it's ready. Just because certain mobile hacking forums out there take the attitude that if nobody told them not to do something then it must be OK, that doesn't mean that's how things are.

OUYA doesn't provide ROMs or "certain add-ons" (certain add-ons which even the XBMC team is opposed to). They likewise have the permission of the people who wrote the software they do provide. That's entirely unlike distributing a software package you ripped from somewhere.
