I remember vaguely that Retroarch is the only app to play SEGA CD games, not entirely sure about this since I do not know anything about SEGA CD emus.

I wish I could help, but I've never tried due to the D-pad issues in Retroarch.

What I did was put the bios (make sure it is named correctly) into EACH game folder. Worked great. Problem is, Retroarch only supports D-Pad and not the WiiMote/Classic controller so its unusable.

Also try the "Launch game detect core" or something similar option.

    Is Retroarch 10.0.0.2?

    Try reinstalling the app?

What is the name of the BIOS?

I can confirm that first off, Picodrive only likes Sega CD games in .bin .cue format where you load the .cue file. You need the 3 bios files that are labelled in the readme file from the Picodrive emulator. You have to put the bios files in each directory for the Sega CD game (when using Nostalgia), or set up a custom system directory when running in Retroarch. I got Cobra Command in .bin/.cue format to run from Nostalgia using Picodrive.

Strange as the Picodrive on other systems runs .iso/.mp3 files just fine.
