I thought the gun not firing was part of the design. Sometimes's it a bit frustrating but I noticed it make's you a better shot. Hit something and you can fire again sooner. It's all about getting lucky with the right gun for sure, the right gun and multiplier together make's for high scores. The wrong gun and no multiplier make's for lot's of dodging without making any points. 200,000 is the next goal! For the buck it cost and online high scores it's good stuff.
I'd like to get past the Android boss too. I keep getting to it with crappy guns and just dodge bullets forever till I die.

The multiplier system is broken. There should be progression from x2 to x5 rather than the random system that doesn't work. Sometime's I can go all the way to the Android boss without anything more than a x2 dropping. Other time's I can start the game with a x5. This makes a huge difference in score with the Android boss being the bench mark. Make it that far and check score.
Another problem is there is large amounts of time that occur when basically nothing can be killed. The wrong gun at the wrong set of enemies means no points and basically watching things scroll by. The boss battle sometimes drag on and on cause of this issue. The wrong gun with a boss and it's dodging bullets forever while not scoring any points. This is when I start over.
I want to get past the android boss and what not but the game feel's lucky when it's going good and cheap when it's going bad.
.......oh, and thank you for making the effort to entertain me. I have most certainly gotten my 99 cent's out of the game. :-)
