Neuvoo (Linux)

Hello everyone,

Neuvoo is a Linux distribution based on the fantastic distribution named Gentoo Linux. The purpose of Neuvoo is to bring this extremely flexible OS to smaller computers, while overcoming the traditional restrictions of those computers. For example, installing an application in Gentoo requires building it from source. This isn't so bad when you have a 3.0+GHz quad-core CPU, solid state drive, and 6+GB of RAM. On a device like the OUYA, it'd be absolutely painful. Neuvoo aims to solve those sorts of problems.

The goal? Hopefully, Neuvoo will be the OS that brings an all-you-can-eat buffet of Linux software to the OUYA, to push it far beyond the world gaming.

Whether I'll reach this goal remains to be seen. Stay tuned.
