So, anybody has any idea when we could get the next firmware update? Some time ago some OUYA guy talked about more regular firmware updates but much time has passed.

I really need to know because after the last update (Chupacabra SP2) my OUYA was never the same, i believe that the update was not fully applied and i don´t have idea on how to forcé a reinstall of that update and is why i need an urgent new update that cleans all the mess.

Maybe any OUYA guy Reading this can tell me??

Since the update my game takes 5-6 attempts to actually start.

The latest updates are known as the following:

- Ouya Everywhere on Mojo (updated hardware specs and an OS not reliant on Ouya, plus a working controller)
- Fire TV
- Android TV (perhaps the biggest update to Ouya ever).

Wait a while and I'm sure if you google or Amazon search for one of these, then your friendly postal service will "download" one to your home after paying for it.

After update i have to randomly start two or three times a game, is very common now that at first try the game begins to load but shortly kicks me off to the root menú.
My controllers started to send random movements (that happened before the update but now are almost unusable).
The pictures in play, discover and make takes a really long time to show up and if i scroll to one side, the ouya seems to hang until the pictures are displayed, the effect is like a PC waiting for a DVD ROM to be readed.

I ve tried with a Factory reset but to no avail. And if i go to system updates it tell me that the ouya is updated, but if i read the update details the window still says Chupacabra SP1.

As i don´t know how to force a reinstallation of the last (or any other) update, my only choice is wait to the next full update to be downloaded from ouya.

I don´t get clearly if you are tring to be ironic, but anyway, i will agree with you because my own experience with the ouya was not good at all, and the big hope now seems to be a new ouya 2 or wathever they call it, but i don´t really will go to buy a new ouya when the first was so buggy.

I still doubt which Android hardware will prevail in the end, but what annoys me more is that the Fire and many others has got controllers that Works decently, something that the ouya is still missing, wich is worst because ouya was designed from start as a game console, and many games as well, when are ported to these others performs far better tan in the ouya, so this shows that is not A<ndroid, the Tegra, the ram or wathever, is just the ouya.

What is wrong with the ouya controller? Last I seen the firetv controller was very mediocre.

And what are these far better games other consoles are getting that the ouya has not?

The ouya controller has a well-written history of not working, in various different ways, for different people. Google is your friend. I only used mine a few times before I gave up on the wretched things.

As for those "great games", here are a few (bear in mind that I am giving examples that I meyself may not like) :

Fire TV:
- Badland
- Terraria
- Rayman Fiesta Rub,
- Asphalt 8 - Airbourne
- Minecraft Pocket Edition
- Dead Trigger 2
- Riptide GP2
- SEV Zero
- Despicable Me: Minion Rush
- Zen Pinball HD
- Tetris

The Android TV Console:
- All that and just about every controller compatible game on Google Play, plus ones that support mouse and keyboard controls.

I've played all of those games on my Ouya except sev zero xD I'm confused. Amazon app store has most of those games on it; and then from the humble bundle there are even more great games are were only on google play like Skulls of Shogun. Pinball and Tetris games really? xD Go to an arcade!

I'd send your controllers in for a firmware update people have had success with this. Also as far as slow loading it sounds like a possible internet issue. You can always write to support and ask them what they think you should do.

Also they have ways of collecting logs to see whats happening. They can also get you set up to send in your ouya if they can't help you over the phone. I'm not sure what else you could ask of support.
