Alright guys I love all the suggestions, I really opened the flood gates on this one. Here is a short list of what to expect. Thanks guys!
WEAPONS
melee - one hit kill
Blaster - Done
Grenade Launcher - Done
Missile - Done
Tesla Core - Done
Sniper rifle/rail gun - holding LT will zoom the view in for more accurate shooting.
Ricochet Core - This projectile will bounce around the room and die off.
Phase blaster - Similar to blaster but goes through walls.
One more Weapon - WIP
ITEMS
(Use b to pick up items)
Rigidbody pickup - Player can pick up crates and other rigidbodies, Similar to half life 2. Can be used as a 1 shot shield, then player drops it once hit.
Energy sword - this weapon can be used a sword and double as a deflector if timed correctly.
Prox mine - This is a mine that can be attached to surfaces and explode on proximity.
Timed sticky mine - This mine can be placed on rigid body items even players and will count down to explosion.
“Rage Mode” - Timed mode that will increase speed, increase jump height, reduce recharge time, inflict more damage.
Sci-fi Hamburger - replenishes the players health
Body Armor - adds a second life bar added health
Sci-fi rubber duck - Just a rubber duck the player can throw around.
Slime capsule - once thrown on the floor it breaks and creates a zone that freezes players in place.
Farrah Dropkick - This item allows the players to smash down and instant kill players on direct hit or deal shock wave damage.
More to come.
ABILITY
Singularity
a black hole that sucks the player and rigid bodies into into one point in space.
Drop Shield
A shield that can be deployed at any angle, will allow the player to shoot through but will block other player projectiles.
Grappling hook
Something the player can shot around the map to escape or get to places easier.
Radar ping
This can be something different, not the traditional 2d radar we see in games. I’m thinking something like sonar that the player can ping. Batman sense is a good example.

Anyway, here are my thoughts:
- Keep on course. Don't try to implement too much on the first go. One thing I likedf about Neon Shadow was the polish and simplicity, with more complex things added as patches, or as a new game.
- Include control changes, like inverting the y axis in the main menu screen under "settings" and in the in-game menu that is selected by hiotting whatever passes for the pause button.
- A single player campaign.
- Co-op online campaign (in the same vane as Borderlands, just without the massive sandbox world and loot system).
Good luck!
Ah yes, I do remember you now. I unfortunately wont have a choice but to move slowly, but it is good to add things slowly and see whats working and whats not. I will have to add some menu system for controls and stuff like that but I can't confirm when that will happen. Single player campaign will be really far down the line unfortunately as will online :/ but we'll get there.
