Moonlight Game Streaming - Cameron Gutman

This thread is for the discussion of Moonlight on OUYA. (Note to developer(s) - send me a private message if you would like to edit this thread).

This app streams games from a GameStream-compatible PC on your local network or over the Internet to your OUYA Console. After initial pairing, Moonlight will launch and stream the Steam Big-Picture interface where you can stream any game that has been added to Steam (including non-Steam games/apps).
To have the best experience, you should have your OUYA connected via Ethernet to your router.

NOTICE: Moonlight is currently incompatible with GeForce Experience 2.1. Please avoid upgrading GFE until this notice is removed. If you've already upgraded, just downgrade by uninstalling GFE and installing the 337.88 graphics drivers (with the included version of GFE).

    Special button combos:
    OUYA Button+LB = Select
    OUYA Button = Start
    OUYA Button+LB+RB = Start+Select = Steam Overlay

    PC Requirements:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 600/700/800 series or GTX 600M/700M/800M series GPU
    NVIDIA GeForce Experience (GFE) 2.0.1
NVIDIA GeForce 337.50 beta driver or later
    Steam

I have a shield and an Ouya I wanted the gamestream on the shield to put my games on the tv as well as take them with me on the road. Ouya is working better with game streaming for me then the shield is! I can stream the Ouya at 1080p 60fps!

Here's a link to my Ouya gamestream playlist on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRkW...V5_egYqOvFLFwF

I can't get any games to play. i connect and pair the devices fine. I get steam big picture. I click a game. A game doesn't play. Developers have said it had something to do with nvidia injecting some code that causes it to crash or whatever. But why is it just me. I have latest driver. I didn't update my gfe. My card is compatible. I don't know why I can't play any games. My PC are windows 8 if that means anything. Kainy doesn't work well for me either. Black screens on ouya and I'll hear the game running from the other room on my desktop. But nothing on my tv.

What game are you playing. Some games i unfortunately have to fidget with to get them to pop up. Loke if i wanna play titanfall i have to hit the windows key on my pc which ends the stream then the taskbar will pop up and i have to select titanfall on the taskbar. then i go back to the ouya and connect to the pc again and the game will be on the screen and work.

Specifically bioshock infinite... Alan wake. And arkum asylum. And I know bioshock infinite is officially supported by nvidia for streaming. I'm referring specifically to using limelight. Btw

Let me know any tricks or settings you have to set up to get it working please.

The latest update fixed my problem and it runs great. I don't know if its different for officially supported titles...but I noticed I had to plug in my 360 controller to get right stick to control the camera for some games...namely arkham asylum. It may have been because I didn't have each games exe listed on my GeForce experience until now. But I got it working. And its just great. Thank you for this app.
