That's silly. I've heard them talk about you in dev hours about how you program at lightning speeds and that he (bawb) loves your games.

Don't Bite the Hand That Feeds
That's the phrase that's been whirling around my head for the past few hours.
It started, tonight, as I watched PlayOUYA's recent YouTube video.
They've decided to put together a little video showing off some great Pixel-based games.
"Awesome," I thought.. "I wonder which of my games they've picked!"
Big headed? Probably. But with 28 (as of typing this) games in the OUYA store, and at least half of those being full of lovely retro pixels, I was almost certain that, finally, Ouya would've featured one of my games.
Except they didn't.
Again.
They skipped on by, and ignored me, like they always do.
And perhaps the paranoia's setting in, but I've been noticing this a lot.
Each time OUYA post a vid, I leap to the land of Tubes, watch it, and keep an ever watchful eye out for anything of mine.
True, I've not bothered watching their "Dev-Hour" series, but that's only because I don't really have much time for that. Far too busy making games.
But the trailers, the OUYA Updates, and pretty much everything else gets watched, and scanned.. closely..
I think at last count, I've spotted.. one of my games... in a menu ..in the background of one of the videos.
One.
If you consider an average of one video a week, currently 28 games (steadily been at least 2% of the marketplace for the past few months), and that realistically, I've had at least one game near the top of the discovery section for the better half of a year... The odds are..
..
well...
...
Paranoia is setting in, I think, as I sit here pondering exactly what this all means.
Nearly 30 games, some of which have proved fairly popular, and then they release a video with exactly my style of games, and completely miss out the whole lot.
Yeah, I'm probably being paranoid..

James, Check the Ouya Facebook post about the current Ouya Presents. You were mentioned by some Mike guy and Ouya replied with a hint that we should not be surprised to see a whole Ouya presents dedicated to you in the future![]()
Hey Jayenkai,
From what I saw, there are only 7 games listed in the video there, and from what I understand, those were games played during a single Twitch stream. It did not seem like these were supposed to be "the best" or anything, but some ones they tried that day that they liked and shared.
From the sound of the other posts here, there might be more going on than you may think.
Things don't always work out as we expect them to, and that's not always a bad thing.
All the best, and keep it up!
Hm, too bad... They could easily fill a whole video with your games. I don't think they don't know or don't like them, they probably just don't know to incorporate them best. (And the number is steadily growing)

Our game Black Hole - A Classic Arcade Dual-Stick Space Shooter
Available in the OUYA store now!
Killswitch - "There are 302,456 OUYAs out there, now no one will have to ask again."
its even funnier that they promoted "ouch couch" in the video which obviously has stolen background layers from streets of rage...

Then I guess I continue, and shrug this off as yet another none-event.
AGameAWeek brings many ups and downs, and this is just another bump on the journey.
you have a strong fanbase here in the forum that really like your games. stop seeing the negative things and look on the positive ones.![]()
