    1. To be honest, I'm not super familiar with OUYA yet but I've been keeping my eye on it for a while. I love the concept behind the console and it looks like there are a good number of great titles already available. It doesn't seem like it's doing so well right now, but I have faith in it! I think if it gets some more cool titles and can prove to people that it's a neat little console to own, it can do well.
    2. After Catlateral Damage releases, I hope to support it with content updates every now and then. It really depends on how well it does after the initial launch. If it does super well, other consoles (PS4, Xbone, Wii U) might be options. If it does amazingly well, maybe a sequel or spin-off? I'm really just focusing on making the game a tight, polished package before planning ahead.

    1. Are you going to make the cats meow at some point in development?

    2. How long did it take you to develop the alpha?

    3. Have you thought about implementing two player mode?

    4. More of a want, but can the Ouya version have cameos, say... an Ouya system in replacement of the nes looking console?

    5. And finally, will there be day and night stages?

    1. Yes! There will probably be a meow button that you can press whenever you want. That way, you can meow at inanimate objects, yourself, or nothing at all (just like real life).
    2. The original prototype was created in a week for the 7DFPS game jam. You can actually play the very first version on Kongregate. I've been working on it since September of last year; part-time up until March when I lost my job and full-time since then.
    3. Multiplayer is something that gets requested a lot and I think it could be fun. It would just be so much work on top of everything else that needs to get done and might not be all that worth it in the end. If the game sells amazingly I might end up adding it as a free update later. It's really just a matter of how to focus my (currently limited) resources.
    4. I love cameos! I think having an OUYA system would be a neat Easter egg. Thanks for the idea!
    5. There will probably be some day and night stages. The current design is that you'll run through several houses over the course of a playthrough, so the first house may start in the morning and progress through the day. I had also wanted to do a nighttime/stealth mode with kitty night vision, so we'll see if that ends up making it.

A dedicated meow button would be awesome, it would be like how DUCK GAME has a dedicated quack button. And thank you for taking in my cameo idea!

With 19 days left and $35,244 pledged, I can see your Kickstarter campaign getting over funded soon. Have you thought about adding stretch-goals?

No problem! We do have plans for stretch goals but didn't want to jinx anything before the initial funding goal is met. They'll probably be announced once we hit the goal.

I'm not sure if the beta will be available on OUYA yet. I might be able to get the demo up, but that probably won't happen until after the Kickstarter is over. I'll definitely look into it though.
