help with cheats in mupen 64

I have been playing ocarina of time lately on the mupen64 emulator. I messed with the setting and got it running almost 100%. 2 things though.... first off i tried enabling cheats but i am not able to click any and get a check box beside them to enable them. What do i need to do to mess around with these? second off, i had no graphical problems untill i got to the shadow temple, and the lens of truth does not allow me to see through stuff that i need to. i changed the graphics plugin and got it to work, but it makes the game WAY slower. any tips/advice? thanks guys

The issue with the lens is part of the plugin you were using. Its a core issue that they've been working on for awhile. I'm assuming the gles2rice plugin is the one that worked but slowed down? This is their personal plugin they are constantly changing. Dunno how often we get updates but the google play version has updated the plugin 2 times I believe since they came out with it 2 years ago. Maybe try sideloading a new version of mupen /or/ try it with another n64 emulator like N64oid which I personally use.

I think you have to use the touchpad on the ouya controller to enable cheats, annoying since i rarely use the ouya controller (PS3 pad is so much better imo)

What i would like for mupen is a simple way to input your own codes on the ouya itself
