Small Update.

Visitor Messages:

1. The amount of characters that can be in a Visitor Message has been increased from one thousand to five thousand.
2. The Font and Quote BBCode have been enabled for Visitor Messaging.

Helpful Answers System:

• All the the forum sections now enable you to up-vote/down-vote posts.

General:

1. Member List can now be searched by Join Date.
2. Time limit on editing of thread title has been increased from five minutes to twenty minutes. (Helpful for those who create threads and need to edit their titles for whatever reason.)
3. Search Index minimum search limit decreased from four to three. (Useful for when you're searching the forum via the "Search Forum" page.)
4. Friends List in member profiles has been increased from six to nine.
5. The Chatbox requirement for members has been reduced.

Introduction Of A New Rule:
We've received numerous complaints concerning the behavior of some members here so with what feedback we've received, we created this rule.

- If a member is found to be going against the spirit of the rules while still technically abiding by them then that's just as bad as breaking the corresponding rule. Staff will handle this on a case-by-case basis and as a collective discussion between Staff members which will determine through majority vote whether we rule for or against your actions. Exceptions and clarifications:

(We understand that people are all different shades of gray and thus don't always go about something like someone else does which includes how they "contribute" themselves to this community. We also know when someone is purposely side-stepping the rules to avoid punishment while still going against what this rules page stands for. When being talked to by a Staff member about this particular rule, it's technically talking to the majority of the Staff here since this is only handled through majority vote.)

Visitor Messages are found in a member's profile. By going into mine you'll see a tab that says "Visitor Message" and from there you can leave me messages for whatever reason on there if you prefer that over private message. It's a good way to leave a response to someone without going through the steps of making a private message along with being a good way to talk to someone about a particular part of a topic that's currently going on in the forum that you'd just like to have them respond to. There are other things but you get the point. I'll be making another update thread soon which will contain more enhancements to the forum.

The former. This includes an update to Tapatalk, add-on implementations which will stay or go depending on what you all think of them, and various other things. Vbulletin itself is not getting updated. Sorry.

I was trying to think of something sarcastic to say, but this rule says it all for me. Wow.

When taken out of context, anything would sound "bad". This rule in particular is one of if not the hardest one to break on the forum and even if someone does then they needed to be voted by a majority to have an infraction be placed on their account. An infraction isn't as punishing as you might think as it's basically like baseball in the sense that you need three strikes to get out. However, what differs is that certain types of infractions are worth different amount of points with an automatic permanent ban happening after six points have been accumulated. Staff was in unanimous agreement on the creation of this rule to preserve the wholesome family fun of the forum with no cost.

Well, wholesome family fun is not the right phrase but you get the point.
