Loving the puzzle structure so far, although I've reached an impasse after getting a key and undergoing a running chase with no seeming means of escape despite a transformation being possible next to the door.

Same here. I've tried about 20 times, and the timing just doesn't seem to be possible to do it. The monster moves too fast, and the spirit form is too slow. I have only even been able to get to the switch once before being tagged by the ghoul. Tripping the switch, making the transformation back, and evading the ghoul seems impossible. I can see no other possibilities in the catacombs though which might be useful.

This is a must buy. this game is so well made and has some of the coolest visuals on the OUYA. Also this game has alot of depth too it.
do your self a favor and buy this game who cares if it dosent have a demo if you hold out just because of that then your really missing out

Hey, we just have English subtitles in this current build, but are working hard to have subtitles for Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Polish!

That is the problem. You can't try.

We are definitely wanting to do an OUYA demo. OUYA had actually advised us against initially doing a demo, to see how the game fared. After the response from fans we will be including a demo in the June 17th build for OUYA (and release on Steam). Also included will be the final chapter (for free), and translations.

The demo seems to have been fixed. It doesn't take near as long to start up now.

Curious, are you guys referring to the web demo which was temporarily working, or playing on the OUYA?

Too pricey...

We feel the $15 price point is very fair for the game. For most players it is 5-6+ hours of content, and a very full and rewarding single player experience. Most games on the OUYA are very multiplayer focused, and we wanted to create a deep and immersive game that had a strong single player.
