720 Rendering

So, I am a simple cave-man, farmer, errrr rooted user w/stock firmware; which i do so as to take advantage of my googleplay, moga, overclock (which basically keeps OUYA's throttle open), ram expander, ...etc. und whatev needs superuser access.

This post by Diablohead got me wondering if there's a difference between using teh Tegra Overclock or the Mod Collection app to drop the res ala 720.

Some side-loaded apps will render to a tiny mode if you force 720p also it will boost most games performance; but the ouya games shouldn't need it as they are inherently designed to work on the ouya. I'd say give it a whirl and see which games work.
