Well I dunno what to say> I paid $200 for a platform thats updated daily and now Ouya says It wont fix anything that breaks> your on your own> which means to me that its a paperweight now.

It happens with these things.

All you have to do... Is wait... If you don't want to do that... Then do what I said above with XBMC, Kodi, or SMPC...

I find it funny you guys are encourging people (albeit not intentionally) to drop this device as their source for use.


I'm sure the people who own this device will realize Ouya no longer updates their apps.

Okay, you edited your post again. We're not discouraging anything. I personally don't have problems with the Youtube application and wholeheartedly recommend it. I'm sure it's the same for the others who have talked to you in this thread too.

Like I said earlier, they're busy with more important things and will continue updating the application when they have time. I said "wait" to you because that's what you'll have to be doing unless you do what I said about XBMC, SMPC, or Kodi. I don't know why you aren't listening. There isn't an issue here because you have the option to go about using the three listed applications I just mentioned. All you seem to be doing is complaining for the sake of complaining which doesn't fly around here.

I've been on other forums that provided me with Software support to get into code to re-program / customize glitchy software etc and non functioning electronic devices etc> with no mouthy feed back.

You guys pretty much like to pick fights with your supposed ownership of the device.

Guess I have to jump in here now since this is still going.

If there is a problem with an app, REPORT IT. No one else has even mentioned anyone wrong with the app. If it's you wanting to do stuff to the app then that's not going to happen. If you want to make your own YouTube app, you're more than welcome to, the info is out there. There are other apps also which has already been mentioned.

The rest of this is definitely not serious because you clearly have not been here long to make those baseless claims. All everyone does around here is find solutions and helps others. I'm not going to sit back while you sit here talking about the members of this forum.

Now, you can either act like a member of this forum and stop trying to pick fights you won't win or find another solution to your "problem" that everyone has been telling you is not possible and/or offering other solutions. No one is going to just hand you their code and say "here do whatever you want with it." That's like asking the developers on this forum to just hand you their code. If you think you can do it better then get the API and do so.

I'm confuse... Is OuyaWii a real person or a troll? If you paid 200 dollars for your Ouya I suggest getting a refund from wherever you bought it and purchase one new for 100 bucks from Ouya themselves. Even if they are working on fixing this app RIGHT NOW they are going to have to test, edit, retest, edit, and then push it through to get judged by the rest of the Ouya team who check out apps before they are released. Turn around for just a game is like a week so I don't understand how you can expect them to find, fix, compile, and deploy in the span of a few days... Please calm down no one said to stop using your Ouya. XBMC is in the Ouya store it is basically a media player with a youtube add-on. Multiple people have said to use this while you wait. If you want to learn how to code however I suggest opening the youtube APK, decompile all the code, learn it, try to emulate it, and then start breaking things until you get bored : D

Spoke to Tim a few days ago and the current Tube is being retired. He will be updating it soon BUT there is no new ETA yet.
