It's entirely possible that you might have a slow connection. Try again plugged into Ethernet. Tests over WIFI were successful. You would have to expect you'll get a better viewing experience over Ethernet.
There can be other factors as well. Where are you located? And what is your broadband speed?

Connection should be fine, XBMC works great. I only have WiFi available.
Anyway, I managed to move up quickly before it froze and I signed in and now it works except some videos have audio slowed way down.
Tried watching this http://youtu.be/SltOChUQwvk and I thought Satan was speaking to me :-(
Yeah I get the same thing. The audio is super slow. Also the controls are wacky but I don't think it was designed originally for our system which may be why. Still have no idea how to back out of things without killing the whole app and restarting it lol
I hope developers will find a way to fix it.
There are a couple of other bugs. It froze on me while I was watching a video after my controller turned itself off (10min) - after I turned it on it didn't respond except on the home button like I mentioned earlier. Then the app crashed.
The app is beautiful, pairing is a great feature and when there are no issues, videos work great in HD.
Thanks for your help Tim and Riot!
I've got it installed, and there's no issues with the controller for me. I use the ps3 YouTube app constantly, so I am stoked that I can pair my phone like before. The playback is a bit spotty though, tiny hiccups and freezes are just present enough to ruin the experience. Xbmc runs fine, and ps3 YouTube is still flawless. What can I try to smooth this out? I really want the Ouya to be the sole device hooked to the living room television, and a perfect YouTube app will retire the ps3 to the cave.
Tried to log in, entered the code, and nothng. Don't really care though as I have Chromecast anyway for this.
