Afternoon Hero is a game that was just released on Google Play for Android and I will soon port it to OUYA.

The game has simple platformer game mechanics yet it challange you with complex scenarios.

Left, Right and Jump that's it.

It's a kind of a short game(3 levels+boss fights) but it has hand tailored levels and usually non repeating scenarios.

I think it is one of the few games I made that is actually fun to play and people don't stop playing after one or two tries.

So... here is a youtube video that will give you a clue about how the game is like.

And here is the Google Play page.

Reminds me of My Hero for arcade and SMS. Gonna be on the look out for this one.

This is looking great! nice style to it. As above I think it would be great to play another version of My Hero.

As it only has 3 levels does that mean you will expand it in the future?

It's possible I will expand it in the future. Not sure.
I was a bit struggling for ideas for the 3rd level to make new kind of challange that don't feel repetitive.
The game mechanics are quite simple at their base.

I know that feeling, my partner keeps telling me that my game isn't varied enough, but if you look at some of the best games they are only very basic ideas repeated.

Well yea, I had the initial idea that I will avoid fillers as much as possible.
I wanted every challenge to be unique instead of trying to make the game longer by just reusing the same bits again and again.
