JoyJoy (Radian Games) - WORKS SIDELOADED

Hi there, here's a new one to add to the list. JoyJoy, a twin stick shooter released yesterday by Radian Games works perfectly on the ouya when sideloaded.

Luke emailed me advising that the game (and some others) will be officially ported over in July, but for now if you have the ability to transfer the game (purchased elsewhere) to your Ouya, then you can play it now

Nope, it's $2.99 or something pay-up-front from either Amazon or Google Play.

is it possible to buy apps there without any android device (despite the OUYA) and download the apk?

Amazon APP Store, perhaps? I use it to download the "Free APP of the Day" but I've never bought anything through it. I think LightyKD has, you should send him a P.M. about it.

Yes you can buy directly from the app or from amazon.com but if you don't have the amazon app store installed it may not work.

Yeah, you still need an Android device (Ouya) with the Amazon APP Store app installed to actually download the apk.

neat game. thanks for the heads-up. seems to work quite well w/the ouya controller. its a fun static-screen shmup, ala geometry wars with a hint of everyday shooter.
