    *daily thread check*

    *sigh* Still no Neon Shadow.

I've got 7 hours until I pack up and leave for the video game party. I'm praying it drops before then, cause I really really really really wanna show this off.

In regards to the counter. Things have been known to double list at times which counts it as 2 games.

This is evident with the API over at TotalOuya where you'll see the same game listed twice for no apparent reason. It's purely a discrepancy bug with the system that's not currently fixed. As a result, even when a dev pushes an update for a double listed game, it'll still tick the counter over until it self-corrects.

Games like def, Bemuda Dash, Speed Tube 3D & Brutal Arena are such examples of double listed games.

I really hope it turns up before you leave.
You're the sort of person that Ouya needs.. taking it to show friends what it's all about. I can understand why you'd want this game to show it off too.. it looks like it could be THAT game for the Ouya..

I know there are other good games on the system, but Neon Shadow looks like it could be a REALLY good game.

Hopefully it'll show up on the store soon..

The website is now showing 497 games. Hmm... Discover doesn't have it so it's something else.

I hope so too. I've been going to these things for about a year 1/2 now (they have them about once every three months). It's a friend of mine that hosts them at his church and he has a lot of people show up for them. The whole time I've been going, I've been the ONLY guy to bring a Playstation 3 with me. The room is literally full of nothing but Xbox / XBox 360. It's a wide range of ages, from early teens to adults. (Usually about 30 - 40 people there.)

When I first started going, they joked with me about bringing a PS3. Nobody was going to play on that. The whole night was nothing but FPS and sports games. (Mostly Madden.) What I noticed, is that as the night went on, I was getting groups of people around my PS3. They were playing games that nobody else brought: Sports Champions, Buzz: Quiz World, Littlebig Planet... last time they played "NBA: Jam" all night. I tend to bring games that support 4+ players, as I'm all about bringing out games for a 'party setting.' (Bombsquad, anyone? LOL)

So, when I say I'm really eager to bring the Ouya, I'm even debating on if I should pack my PS3 tonight or not. I know the Ouya will be a hit. The older adult teens have already started to ask me (in terms of emulation): "Do you have Mortal Kombat? Do you have Street Fighter? What about Sonic?" And I'm pretty sure games like: Towerfall, Bombsquad, In Plain Sight, Amazing Frog (especially with vs. support now!), King of Opera, etc... are gonna be a blast for them to play.

But Neon Shadow has something that the old school adults remember the most: 4 player DM. It makes you think of the old Golden Eye games. See, they already do FPS on their XBox systems. Some of the games let them do splitscreen on the same console, but I don't know if any of them will do 3 - 4 players. (I haven't noticed in past event..) They have wifi there, so once in awhile if people bring the same game, they will play over LAN (no internet there... boo!) but there's something magical about you all playing together on the same screen.

This is why I want to take it, not only the fact that it is a pretty polished game from what we have seen. I bought it on the tablet and I liked it a lot, but I want the Ouya version. I know I'm gonna get questions all night of: "How much is this thing? Where did you get it? How much did that game cost?" So, I see it as a good opportunity to really show this little cube off and make them understand that you don't have to have the highest number of pixels on the screen to enjoy a video game.

So, I'm not holding my breath... but I'm hoping that it will still show up in time.

@Nadious Hats off to you sir..
Trying to spread the love of social fun party gaming.

I love my 360 (both of them) and my PS3 (both of them..3 actually but my 60GB is dead with the ylod!).. but hardly any games are made for multiple players playing in the same room, which is a shame. Ouya seems as though it wants to change that.. which i applaud.
But.. if you are taking your PS3 & if you have a move controller, get Top Darts. I got it last week because it's cheap, and because i love darts, and can't wait now until Christmas to play it with the family.. it's going to be such a hit i'm sure, lots of fun!

    Anyhoo.. back on topic..
I've looked on the playstore SO many times thinking of buying Neon Shadow, but i'll wait.. don't want to ruin any of it by seeing it on a little screen & only having crappy touch screen controls! Really hope it turns up soon.. want to get cracking on it SO bad!
