Is it just me that thinks when the OUYA page confirms the release date to be a certain date via a flashy announcement, they should stick to said release date? If they weren't certain of when the game was going to be released, then why confirm it for a specific date?

If it doesn't then I hope people keep in mind that it wasn't Neon Shadow's fault. We'll just have to occupy our time with something else until it gets here sooner, or later than what was originally thought.

I don't know, but I'm going to go ahead and say that any further talk of this(serious, or otherwise like making a joke) will have their post(s) removed. The sheer audacity that these people are in on something like this with OUYA Inc. is stretching it, but not purchasing it because of this reason is down right stupid. What if it's indeed some marketing tactic? Do you know what that would mean? Look at it this way...

The game you all loved and supported until you suspected foul play like this would garner more interest by the f***-load for being game number five-hundred. This would increase sales, increase support, increase member-base so you can play online with more people for a online game, and would make way for another project of theirs to be funded a lot easier amongst a lot of other things. But oh no! They pushed back the release date only a few days for huge amounts of benefits, but it's not like it concerns you or anything on a life or death level considering that the benefits far outweigh the odds. Just stop fussing over the littlest things and wait for the game you've all been waiting for, for so long so you might as well play it just for that reason alone.

Hell, did anybody ever think on what I said previously about how they might not be in control of the situation at all and that OUYA Inc. themselves could unintentionally or otherwise be releasing it as game five-hundred? Me deleting any remnants of this whole conspiracy you all love to talk about will also carry over into the Current Games & Application section when it gets released and put there. These people are nice, intelligent, and damn good at their job. If some uncontrollable mass of members on OUYAForum pushes them away, then I'll make sure that the people responsible for that happening will have their asses kicked out of here so fast that they'll be transferred over to a GameStick forum.

I don't understand how the number of games go from 498 last night back down to 496 ,but when i look at what games are available i don't see anything notable missing. This isn't the first time i seen it flux back and forth before i wander what happens when that goes on.

Yeah, a few of us have also seen this sort of behavior from the OUYA website before along with there being zero to ??? games instead of the actual number. If there's one thing that is consistent, it's the fact that new content always comes out after the website straightens out.
