Delayed or no Email notifications

I regret to inform anyone here who is having email problems that the issue won't be resolved anytime soon. Multiple websites coupled with increasing amounts of user-bases across them means that there's going to be a few hiccups in a few areas.

So I quess Eddie is trying to do all of these web sites and users on a inadequate server?

I find this lack of maintenance... disturbing

I can't believe that this is not going to be fixed. I'd really love to participate in the forum so much more, but I simply don't have the time to check the forum for new posts on my subscribed threads. I really wonder how others manage this - notification is an essential feature of a forum software and HAS to work. I just answered to a question that I simply didn't see for about 6 months

I'm here every night so it's easy for me to check through all the new threads. I've never had email notifications turned on, so I don't know how bad it doesn't work.

We're basically holding the place together with gum and duct tape ourselves. Sorry this has been an inconvenience to some of you.

I have never received an email from this forum, all the way back to when I signed up actually...just dealt with it. Not sure on the reason or the cause though it's most likely the server. It hasn't been that hard to catch up on anything on the forum though. I can't make any promises on the issue being resolved anytime soon. It is on the list of things that may be broken.
