    I want a car adapter!

    I bought an OUYA specifically to put into my truck for my DVD Head unit with HDMI. The lack of a car charger inhibits my installation, because I have to rely on a power inverter. Having a way to plug this in to a cigarette lighter port would be fantastic, because I could hardwire in a new one that I could hide for a clean install!

    If your car has a 12V electrical system (most cars do) all you need is a 12V voltage regulator for 2-3 Amps. (Ouya's original psu is rated 1.5A.) If you have some knowledge about soldering, you can find really simple schematics to build one, google for "12V regulated 3A". You can also buy ready made units, search on ebay for something like "12v car voltage stabilizer".
