Towerfall "sold a measly 7,000 copies"

dude it's a game that has been out almost a year compared to a moth and a half on the PS4. It's not just that, if Towerfall was one of the best SELLING games and was heavily promoted by OUYA what are other devs going to think, especially if they don't get special treatment? Maybe create a bame to get 1,000 sells a year? To me it's nothing to do about the PS4 or yellow journalism and all to do with 7,000 sells in almost a year. Nobody is falling prey, to the media or all the excuse makers for OUYA.

The equivalent of Towerfall Ascension for Ouya will only be available in a couple of months, so it is totally unfair to compare sales numbers right now.

Not sure if you are reading my posts or not but I'm not comparing numbers, this has nothing to do with other platforms. It has everything to do with 7,000 sales in about a years. If this is one of the best selling games how many sales are middle of the pack getting?

being the best game on OUYA isn't a huge deal, but it is nice

OUYA is not the place for developers to directly make money and/or 'go big'. The reality might seem cruel, cold or hateful, but that is just how it is.
