Offensive Combat - f2p multiplayer FPS open beta on PC - Ouya bound game!

Anyone playing? It's pretty good, if you can get a lag free game. It is a free to play FPS, like a mash up of Quake and Team Fortress 2, which launches from your browser a la Quake Live. It's built with the Unity 3D engine and looks quite nice. Not BF3 nice, but it has a consistent clean style. It's open beta, hence the lag I guess, and you can sign in with your Google account. The menus are a little confusing and there are loads of useless upgrades on which to spend the in-game currency. Weapons and stat boosts can also be bought, but it looks like a long grind if you're not prepared to pay

I've been on a few nights this week, I think it's pretty good and a nice change from the likes of BF3

I hate how the f2p games have the micro transactions to gave temporary boosts or other modifications that give others an advantage. Takes away from the skill of the game imo. I understand that the devs want to make some coin in the porcess and many are willing to fork over some money, but I was and still am a true believer in skill over anything else. Looks alright though

It's alright, there's loads of noobs on OC, I have a 2:1+ KDR without much effort. Buying weapons is possible without paying but a good assault rifle is 64k credits plus... Put it this way, you might earn ~200 credits in a match if you are as awesome as me

Ahhh I see, you can put me in that n00b category then...although I haven't even played yet. But it looks really over the top with the tbagging celebrations.....really awesome

Despite the F2P-ness that a lot of people hate.... I think this will definitely be a fun title for the OUYA.

EDIT: Just played several rounds... this may be the first FPS I'm actually any good at o.O
