Thats a pretty sweet idea, i think there will be tons of young people out there grinning at the chance to put a game on a console but have no idea how. This could help bridge the gap.
This is an awesome idea. A bunch of OUYA devs are getting together to put together an OUYA minibundle. The idea is to help games get used to the OUYA. The mini games included in the bundle will be free and meant to show off different aspects of the OUYA. What are you opinions on this? I think it's an awesome idea to get the OUYA community together and provide them with something to get used to the OUYA's gaming power.

The Ouya Mini Bundle is a bundle of several small, open source games.
Games will be bundled into a pack that can be downloaded on the Ouya game console. There purpose is to
introduce gamers to the console. The source code will be released so new developers can see how they work.
The games should have an emphasis on the OUYA's unique features, if possible.
The project is led by James Spencer (JamesS237) and Josh Siegl (sodafountan).
To contribute a game, you must first alert us on this Ouya Dev Forum Thread. And then send a pull request.
Rules:
- Games must be enclosed in their own folder.
- Games must be in Java. (No Unity/Air/etc.)
- Games must be open source (License is your choice, but be OSS)
Thats a pretty sweet idea, i think there will be tons of young people out there grinning at the chance to put a game on a console but have no idea how. This could help bridge the gap.

That's kinda cool. I'd contribute but I don't think I'm going to have time![]()
I'd like to contribute too, sadly I don't know Java.
I was going to use Gamemaker Studio, wich can make Android apps.
But it doesn't change into Java after it is compiled.
Im curious about the reason for the language limitation.

Really great idea, reminds me a bit (of course that´s not the same) of "Wii Sports", which also came out at first, so people could get used to the possibilities of the console.

Thats seems like a great idea. But I dunno how the other devs are gonna respond. They may want to do their solo projects.
