Thread: Astraea

    Hello everyone!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I ran the very first multiplayer session running on 2 OUYA consoles! Take a look at how it went!

The controls still need some work, but it's definitely coming along. Also if you like this game, please consider backing it on Kickstarter!

    Hey everyone!

I've been hard at work on the game over the past few weeks! The game is coming along really nicely! 2 weeks ago or so, I played with the idea of making a smaller 'mini-game' based on the full Astraea game. 2 weeks later, and "Astraea: A Small World" was born! It's available right now on the OUYA and Google Play store (with iOS and Mac App Store coming next week). If you're interested you can check out the trailer and description under the DISCOVER section on the OUYA.

So that's that! Lots of stuff has happened with the main Astraea game though! Things like ..

    - Polished the OUYA controls a ton!
    - Vastly improved performance across all platforms.
    - Optimized the network performance a LOT!
    - Began work on fishing!
    - Added horses!
    - Again, did a TON of OUYA related stuff. Seriously, over half my revisions the past 3 weeks are mainly OUYA related.
    - Improved the villagers AI! Still needs to go a long way but it's a lot better than it was. Villagers will now walk around and visit the shop from time to time. When they get hungry, they will track down a 'Food Market'. If you don't have one, they will begin to starve. Starving currently has no effect though. Eventually a starving villager will cause their happiness level to drop and make them sick. A villager will never die though.
    - I am currently working on adding a bunch more types of crops. So hopefully that will be done soon!

    More updates to come soon
