Hi, I'm looking for games to demo / for people to play at an OUYA themed meetup on Jan 24th. Would it be ok to use Survival this way?

Actually there are two meetups, one I'm organising in London and another near San Francisco. The London one has about 100 people registered, though since it is a free event, probably not all of those will turn up

Cool game, work just fine !

    It get surprisingly addictive though.

I intend to make an OUYA exhibit this Week End in Marseille (France), and I will greatly appreciate to show Survival there.
I will share any feedback people will give me (Well except ones like : "duh why pixels are eating each other ?" ).
If you don't want me to do so, please tell me ASAP.

Anyway congrats, and good luck for future OUYA devs

    v4 update!

    - added a size meter (tells you what enemy you can eat next)

    - added a new game over screen that changes colors, and enemies continue to move across the screen (kinda like a screensaver).

let me know if any of you are experiencing any issues. I also need to know if I need to add a deadzone for the left analog stick (if so the player moves on its own).

After looking through the list of entries so far which I've onyl gotten through about 1/3 of them, this one is one of the top ones on my list to get so far. Looks like a blast

Okay, so here are my feedbacks for Survival V3 after exhibit on a Cosplay convention :

People liked the arcade style. They enjoyed it, thinking the game wasn't that hardcore (Though no one get past level 7 if I remember). So mostly positive feedback, the minimalist 2D graphics didn't bother most of them.

However a few note : The Deadzone thing, I don't know if it's linked to the devs Controller, but it will definitively improve the game. Second, people tend to die in chain once they lost a life, maybe an half second invincibility after getting eaten will help not to loose all 3 life (Who doesn't appear on the HUD too) in a row. And I experienced some random crash, mostly after relaunching the game and not force killing the app before (Games should be automatically killed on exit, I hope people at OUYA will work on something that is not too Android mobile device style).

But this game is addictive as hell though ! I got myself stuck into it more than one time, and I wasn't the only people there doing it ! The Gameplay change as you grow is freaking clever in a way, and I think even a little philosophical (From avoiding to hunting).

    Good job anyway !
